| Peterson's Cottages are located on the south shore of Lake Superior, with miles of sandy beaches and fabulous sunsets. On the west side is Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, the "Porkies", with miles of hiking, alpine and Nordic trails, and hundreds of acres of virgin timber. In the south part of the county, we have Lake Gogebic and the Ottawa National Forest. All this surrounds over 100 waterfalls and miles of snowmobile and multi-use trails. Petersons Cottages are located adjacent to Snowmobile Trail #12 for some winter fun. Our Resort offers lodging for all tastes and budgets: from modest two-person cottages to a full two story 3 bedroom vacation home (Cedar Lodge), plus everything in-between. |
